Update for Sister City Fort Collins and How it Effects Loveland
Some wonderful news crossed the desk recently, alerting all to an award for the ‘Sister City,’of Fort Collins. FOCO is the 4th largest city in Colorado where they fought to allocate monies for the tourism sector. The districts place Loveland and Fort Collins together, which will undoubtedly share the tax revenue earned by lodging throughout. Tourism provides jobs and economic growth where both cities will benefit.

Not only does Loveland, Colorado, have strong economic growth, it is a city full of excitement. Safety Update for Loveland Residents and City Officials
While life can’t be all fun and games, the city of Loveland is working hard developing the new NOCO Law Enforcement Training Center. The community’s safety is a priority for the city, including renovations with both police, 4-fire departments and social work offices. In addition, cyber security and insuring a strong infrastructure of bridges and roads, has kept Loveland busy making daily-progress. In fact, the pink paint on roads happen to be underground work areas, reminding us of the city’s dedication for providing a safer place to live. These tidbits of info will certainly impress all your friends. More importantly, you will know your investment is taken seriously.
Food Truck Events and Updates found at Sweetheart Winery
Safety is important and so is food! Another event happening for Loveland is Food Truck Friday with Marchio’s Grill at the Sweetheart Winery. This is the ideal place for sipping and dining in a casual atmosphere. It’s nice to see so many of the local businesses back up and running again. (Even if it’s just baby steps). Marchio’s will be there just in time for happy hour between 4-8 PM. Come out and join the neighbors while indulging.

This update will surprise and excite those who love visiting the Budweiser Events Center. They are putting up $420K for renovations before reopening to the public. Sometimes, the downtime is being put to good use. They will upgrade the sound system, and safety to improve both patrons’ and athlete’s experiences which is obviously a terrific update for Loveland residents and visitors.
What’s Happening with the Music Scene in Loveland, Colorado?
Gather together music lovers (Social Distance of Course) and head over to Black and Blues Music and Brews. Recently partnered with multiple local-breweries, they provide live entertainment from a variety of musicians filling the taproom with incredible sound. The taproom will feature multi-talented guitarists, percussionists and the like to keep a smile on your face and warm your heart with craft beers or wine. What a great way to celebrate the awesome and amazing community from Larimer County!
Art and Artists Add to Loveland Events and Updates
While Loveland offers stellar music and beer, did you know we are supportive of both performing and visual arts? As a matter of fact, there is an entire page dedicated to artisans on Facebook. Sharon Carlisle’s installation piece involves the community where they are working on building awareness about water flow through the neighborhoods and streets. Carlisle’s community project invites you to take part. Her medium, water from Loveland where she soaks the paper which creates fabulous and meaningful patterns. Her goal is to form the impressionable art into a book to be shown on display. Viewers will then understand how important water is and how it affects the environment. When you have time, visit the Loveland Museum for additional inspiration.

Speaking of art, if you haven’t done so, get to know Chapungu Sculpture Park off Sky Park Drive. This park is a unique contribution by a man called Roy Guthrie, who’s mission is to promote stone sculptures from the people of Zimbabwe. Both Loveland and Colorado as a whole supports fine artists internationally? Make it a day to visit the park and a great way to enrich the entire family.
